Description
Vintage 1950s Party Dress by Henri Bendel. The lot includes a vintage 1950s party dress by Henri Bendel featuring a sheer machine embroidered linen fabric, a sleeveless bodice with a deep V neckline with a crumb catcher style overlay in white sheer linen creating a sweetheart effect. A full cocktail length circle skirt with horsehair braid at the hem, a side metal zip closure, and an ivory acetate lining. Laying flat the dress measures: bust: 17”, waist: 12”, length: 44.5”. The dress is in fair condition with heavy toning throughout, spots on the lining, small splits at the underarm, and seams becoming unsewn near the zipper.
