Description
Antique c1890 Log Cabin Quilt A Streak of Lightening setting. It measures 72 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 42 blocks, 11.5 by 11.5 inches, set straight, 6 by 7, with a 2 inch Congo red, now fugitive textured solid border on 2 sides. It is hand and machine pieced and machine quilted in the ditch of an off blocks to hold it together. There is no batting, and a red and black print on white shirting. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front on 2 sides and knife edged along the other 2 sides. It’s in fair condition with several spots, a split fabric along one edge, and some edge wear. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
