Description
Amish Shirley A Shenk from Goshen, IN, Custom Quilt from c1990 measuring 88×104″. Medallion Style with an applique floral and berry motif in the center, with a pieced triangle frame. There is a frame of appliqued flowers and berries, and corners of additional pieced triangles in color gradations. It is hand appliqued, machine pieced, and hand quilted. The buyers last name and date 2005 are also hand quilted in a border. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied bias binding by hand and machine. The workmanship is excellent! It is in good condition with only a faint discoloration in one border. Included are also 2 custom small throw pillows, also hand quilted, one with a pillow form, the other does not. In very good condition. This custom quilt would have cost between $1500-2000 at the time it was purchased. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
