1850 Figure and Fancy Coverlet -by John S Goodman, Black Creek, Luzerne Co, PA, Made for Mary Reed. It measures 80 by 89 inches. There is a 3 inch fringe along 3 sides. Very patriotic colors in red, white, and blue, with some green. There are Birds and trees along 2 borders. The field has repeated block patterns of stars, snowflake like motifs, and other geometric motifs. It is in good condition with just one tiny spot.
