Description
2 c1940 quilts, includes a Bow Tie quilt measuring 64 by 66 inches. It is comprised of 64 blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set straight, 8 by 8. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a green geometric print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with edge wear, toning, small holes and fabric deterioration. Along with a Jacob’s Ladder quilt measuring 57 by 75 inches. It is comprised of 35 blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set straight, 5 by 7 with a 8 inch black print border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a woven stripe chambray reverse. The edge is finished with an applied black print binding, by machine. It is in fair condition with overall toning small holes, and small spots. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
