Description
Lot featuring two pairs of early 20th century faux tortoise shell lorgnettes. The first pair measures 10 3/4 inches in length and is crafted from early plastic with a faux tortoise shell design. It features an Irish blackthorn-inspired handle, a hinged top, and a 4.5-inch-wide glasses frame without lenses. The second pair measures 9.5 inches and includes a twisting handle design, crafted from early plastic with a faux tortoise shell finish. This pair comes with a hinged 4.5-inch-wide glasses frame that retains its original lenses. Both items are in good condition. Please see the photos for details.
