Description
Vintage black felt bonnet-shaped hat adorned with two unique gold double “bullet” shaped decorations at the top edge of the brim. A black net decorative veiling drapes gracefully along the back. The hat is a remarkable example of a wartime style, stamped with Dover Henry Poliak Inc., Fifth Ave., NY. In good condition. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
