Description
A vintage 1940s navy blue hat. The wide brim is crafted with alternating concentric circles of navy blue wool felt and horsehair braid, giving it a distinct layered texture. It features a standing navy blue grosgrain ribbon band and a bow at the back. A small hat pin is also included, adding a touch of functionality. The condition is noted as good. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details.
