Description
Approximately 25 in in diameter, this large reproduction Edwardian toque hat was created by J. Douglas James and features intricate detailing. The hat is designed with lilac and black tulle, overlaid with netting for texture. A striking front accent showcases plush grapes covered in tulle, complemented by velvet leaves, creating a unique and expressive focal point. The interior structure includes horsehair braid for secure attachment. In good condition. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
