Description
Small black antique 1880s horsehair and straw hat featuring a shirred black silk front brim. The design includes black satin ribbon and black organza puffs, accented with one cream silk thread puff. The hat exhibits toning and wear to the silk thread puff and fading on the shirred black organza at the front brim. In fair condition. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details.
