Description
Antique lavender-grey fur felt “bicorn” hat accented with pale lilac grey silk taffeta bows and banding. The hat is decorated further with purple and taupe ostrich plumes, a brass rectangular hat buckle, and an antique brass and rhinestone hat pin. The antique hat has been carefully restored with horsehair for attaching. In very good condition. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
