Description
Antique velvet wide brimmed hat featuring a soft black velvet finish adorned with a large plume in vibrant earth tones. It is decorated with intricate black trim and a bold striped satin ribbon tied into a bow. The hat shows minor wear, with a few small holes and fiber loss on the brim, indicative of its age. A striking piece for collectors or period enthusiasts. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
