Description
Assorted lot of 10 vintage and antique fans. Includes 3 antique fans: 2 silk with sequin embellishments (the white fan shows tears and discoloration), and 1 paper, possibly Chinese, with hand-painted flowers and collapsible guards and ribs. Includes 2 tortoise shell fans with hand-painted details (painting is faded on one). Includes 4 celluloid fans with features such as hand-painting and piercing (one of which depicts dancers but is missing feather trim). Also includes 1 vintage paper fan with a folding metal handle (leaf detached but comes with its original black box with a daisy motif). Fans range from 5 in x 9 in to 8 1/4 in x 15 in.
