Description
Large antique 19th century burgundy silk fan featuring an embroidered silk spray of roses on the front leaf and black silk on the reverse. The fan includes wood guards and carved bone ribs, both with gold embossed details. It also has a bone rivet and a brass loop. Measurements are 24″ x 13″. It is in good/fair condition with slight fraying on the top edge of the front leaf, a few white spots on the back, and minor paint loss on the guards. Please see the photos for details.
