Description
An antique black Chantilly lace folding fan featuring tortoise shell or celluloid guards and ribs. The upper guards are intricately carved and include a possibly sterling LSJ monogram on one guard, and an early plastic rivet and loop. In good/fair condition with minor scuffs and wear on guards and ribs, a detached rib from the leaf, and a small tear in the lace near the guards . The fan measures 14 1/4 in x 26 1/2 in when fully open. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
