Description
Antique hand painted folding fan made of silk, decorated with gold spangles, depicting a romantic scene and decorative transparent areas. Mother of pearl guards and ribs feature intricate floral inlays. Measures 8 1/2″ x 16″. Condition includes slight discoloration along the top edge of the leaf, a slit in the fabric on the painted motif, as well as several areas of loose fabric and discoloration on the reverse.
