Description
Antique hand-colored paper folding fan with a grand scene of figures at recreation by the water on one side and a hand painted scene of houses on a coastline. With intricately carved bone guards and ribs with silver tone overlay accents. The upper guard is backed with mother of pearl sheets, and the bottom of the fan has a metal rivet, a silver tone loop, and a pastel turquoise silk tassel with metallic braid accents. Dimensions are 11 inches by 20 inches. It is in good/fair condition with slight losses to the silver overlaid accents, and a rib with a small split near the rounded top.
