Description
A collection of three antique Jenny Lind style fans. Includes a hand-painted floral fan with tan silk moire fabric, featuring carved bone guards, gilded details, a mother-of-pearl rivet, and a brass loop. This fan measures approximately 10 3/4 x 19 1/2 in. It is in fair condition with toning, spots discoloration, gilding losses, and a period repair to one of the guards. The set also contains a black silk folding fan with gold spangles in a floral design, gold gilded wood guards and sticks, a mother of pearl rivet, embossed brass loop, and a black silk tassel. Measures 10 1/2 in x 18 in. In fair condition with minor spangle losses, slight fading, and wear to the gilded finish. As well as, a pink silk folding fan with detailed carving on the bone guards and ribs, a mother of pearl rivet , and a metal loop. It measures 9 in x 16 1/4 . In fair condition with fading and spots on the pink silk leaves, and small holes. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
