Description
Antique Asian carved bone folding fan with intricately carved guards and sticks featuring figural scenes amongst foliage. Designed in the Jenny Lind style, it is laced with a white ribbon that appears to be a replacement as the original silk ribbon. Including a mother of pearl rivet and a gold-toned metal loop. It is in good condition with slight toning to the guards, general surface wear, and a small crack near the upper edge of one sticks. Measures 10 1/2 – 18 1/2 inches.
