Description
Antique c1920 Salesman Textiles for Men Sample Case with samples on 177 cards, samples in folders featuring Summery Underwear, Made to Measure Underwear, and Dress Shirts, 2 Monogram Sample Cards, a folder from James Carroll – Carroll Clothes in NYC. Each card contains 3 samples (over 500 samples) The samples include cotton stripes and wovens, small prints, rayons, and other fabrics for mens shirts and pajamas. The case is in poor condition with wear and oxidation to handle and buckles. It’s paper lining is intact, but discolored with some flaking. The folder and trifolds are in good condition showing some foxing and age discoloration to some swatches. The swatch cards are in good condition with some missing swatches. This is a VERY RARE find! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $40 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
