Description
Antique c1900 Hap with Petticoat and Newer Bonnet. The Hap or wool quilt measures 51 by 62 inches. Arranged in vertical bars with 2 vertical rows of Flying Geese and other rows in various wool stripes, suiting materials in various sized rectangles. It is machine pieced and machine quilted, and hand quilted. The reverse is also pieced and appears to have recycled garments on the reverse. The edge is finished with a scrappy wool fabric applied binding. It is in good condition with just us a few small spots. There is also what appears to be an unifinished quilted black petitcoat, 32″ long. 3 sides are finished, just the waist line is unfinished. In good condition Also included is a black ladies bonnet, size Large, a souvenir from the Amish. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
