Description
2 Vintage Linen Placemat Sets and More. The lot includes 2 vintage sets of white linen placemats and more. Featuring a set of 6 white linen placemats with embroidered accents, cut work medallions, and a draw work outer border. In good condition with spots. A set of 4 vintage white linen placemats featuring heavily worked corners in a mix of needle lace medallions, floral embroidery, cutwork and a filet lace trim. They are in fair condition with the blue embroidery pattern still visible, spots, yellow discolorations, and several areas where the cutwork accents have separated. Also included are 12 white linen napkins with all featuring a single corner embellished with geometric embroidery, cut work arches, and draw work medallions. In good condition with some having toning and faint yellow discolorations. These textiles were collected from the Beacon Hill area of Boston. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
