Description
19th Century Cut Velvet Runner. The lot includes a 19th century 80” x 21.5” cut silk velvet runner featuring olive green scrollwork patterns on a mustard yellow ground. It is backed in an undetermined fabric (possibly silk) and the front features extensive conservation work where the ground was shattering. It is in fair condition with wear to the velvet pile and small areas of shattering. Please see the photos for details and condition. This textile was collected from the Beacon Hill area of Boston. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
