Group of Antique Fine Lace Coasters and More. The lot includes a mix of 19th and early 20th century fine lace pieces and more featuring a set of 12 linen and needle lace coasters, a set of 5 needle lace coasters. A set of 10 filet lace coasters, 7 linen cocktail napkins with acorn embroidery, 7 linen cocktail napkins with a needle lace edge, 5 cocktail napkins with a fine crochet edge, 2 single linen cocktail napkins, a set of 12 square linen doilies square ecru lace doily, 2 apricot colored round linen doilies, a French made oval linen and lace doily, with extensive draw work, a matching set of 20 linen coasters and 10 linen doilies with needle lace medallions. 2 needle lace medallions with the image of a king in profile. 5 small crochet medallions, 3 circular needle lace medallions, a 59” by 9.5” machine lace valance, as well as 4 vintage and antique hankies. Featuring a vintage men’s hankie with a French saying stating “a married man is a bird in a cage”, and 2 antique linen hankies with heavy embroidery, needle lace, and lace trim. The group is in good/fair condition with some pieces having toning, storage line discoloration, spots, and water stains. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
