2 Antique Quilts. Includes a c1900 One-Patch quilt with triple sashing and nine-patch cornerstones, black squares set on point with orange and navy cotton fabric, hand pieced and hand quilted in a Baptist fan pattern, thin cotton batting, white cotton reverse, measuring 62″ x 77″, in poor condition with heavy deterioration to the black fabric, discoloration, fading, edge wear, stains and holes. Also includes an antique c1910s Spider Web Star quilt, 12 stars set 3 x 4, diamonds are comprised of a variety of cotton fabrics including shirtings, plaids, dots and more, with indigo cornerstones and triangles and a red sashing, hand pieced and hand quilted, thin cotton batting, white cotton reverse with some printed feedsacks including Silver Springs Salt and Jack Frost Sugar, measuring 62″ x 76″, in poor condition with deterioration to the edges, heaving fading, and small holes. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In overall good condition minor spots and/or discolorations, please see the photographs for imperfections.
