Description
2 Vintage c1930 Quilts. Vintage c1930 Star Cot or Workman’s Quilt measuring 45 by 78 inches. 2 large stars about 30 inches in diameter, with a 6 point star in the center, are hand appliquéd onto an off white ground. It is also hand pieced and hand quilted. There is an off white backing and thin cotton batting. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by hand. It is in good condition with a few small spots and 1 small hole. Along with a c1930 Double Wedding Ring Quilt measuring 80 by 95 inches. It is comprised of 20 interlocking wedding rings, about 24.5 inches in diameter, set straight, 4 by 5. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a prairie point triangular treatment, by machine. It is also in fair condition with fading, storage line discoloration, other spots and a musty odor.
