Description
Fan Quilt by Bobbie Aug and quilted by Sandi Fruehling, 2000, measures 67×75″. It uses many Asian style fabrics, some with metallic printing, and some Hoffman fabrics. It can be found on page 65 in “More Vertical Quilts with Style, co authored by Bobbie Aug. It is in very good condition. There is a sleeve for hanging attached to the back along the top of the quilt and a label pinned to the reverse. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer, quilt store co-owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
