Description
Antique c1850 Carpenters Wheel Quilt measuring 81×98″. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 14 by 14 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 2.25 inch sashing and border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a white cotton reverse and medium loft cotton batting. The edge is finished with a brown print applied fabric binding. It is in fair condition with overall toning, fading, a small split in the border, and overall edge wear. Lots of great early prints, some block printed cotton prints; all fabric is intact. Previously a part of Laura Fisher collection. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
