Description
Vintage Time Span 1890-1930 Log Cabin Quilt measuring 77 by 78 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 5, with a 8 inch red print border and an additional solid red border, 1.5 inches wide, on the top and bottom. It is machine pieced and hand quilted, no batting, and a green floral feed sack print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, and applied by hand. It is in good condition with a few small spots, and the pencil lines for quilting are evident. The fabrics in the top are earlier than the reverse, this quilt was probably finished the 1930s.
