Description
Vintage Time Span 1890-1940 Wild Goose Chase Quilt measuring 77 by 82 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 9 by 9 inches, set straight, 5 by 5 with 3 inch red print sashing and blue print cornerstones. There is a 1.5 inch blue print inner border and 7.5 inch red print outer border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a bars back reverse using a using 2 feed sack style 1930s prints. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back, applied by hand. It is in good condition with a few small spots and the quilting lines are evident. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author.
