Description
Vintage Time Span 1890-1950 Monkey Wrench Quilt measuring 77 by 89 inches. It is comprised of 72 blocks, 10.5 by 10.5 inches, set straight, 6 by 7, with a 8 inch blue feed sack floral print border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a blue feed sack print reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. It is in good condition with minor spots and the pink and blue quilting lines are quite evident. Fabrics in the blocks include 19th century indigos, madder, mourning prints, and shirtings. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
