Description
Antique c1920 Triple Irish Chain Quilt, pattern by Capper’s Weekly. It measures 76 by 77 inches. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 16.5 by 16.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with a 5 inch solid teal blue border. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a wonderful large scale pink floral print reverse. The edge is finished with an applied red fabric binding. It is in fair condition with fading on fold lines and in the border. This is another unique block design not typically found. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
