Large French Antique Tapestry Chair Cover Set. The lot includes a rare nearly complete French antique wool tapestry chair and settee cover set all of which feature colorful floral sprays on a bright red ground. The set includes 1 large settee seat cover 68” x 32” with 4 arm covers 19” x 12”, 4 arm chair back panels 20.5” x 22”, 3 arm chair seat panels 25” x 24”, 4 large arm chair seat covers 31” x 29” , 4 parlor chair back covers 19” x 16.5”, 1 large arm rest cover 12” x 7”, 4 smaller arm rest covers 9.5” x 7.5”. Also included is the vintage wrapping paper with French labels “Editex Glace Paris”. The lot is in a mix of conditions with several pieces appearing brand new, others being heavily used with staining, discoloration, seperation of the weave, and spots from fabric tacks.
