Salvaged Antique Floral Tapestry Chair Covers. The lot includes 2 single panels and 2 matching sets of antique floral tapestry chair covers featuring 1 antique elongated oval floral tapestry seat cover on a beige ground measuring 41 3/4” x 19”. In poor condition with fading holes, and the several areas where the weft has deteriorated leaving only the warp threads exposed. 1 antique oval floral tapestry chair back panel featuring a vase of flowers on a beige ground measuring 21 3/4” x 20.5”. In fair condition with fading and discolorations. As well as several antique fabric nails/tacks along the outer perimeter. 1 matching antique floral wool tapestry seat cover remnants featuring a floral arrangement in a small vase on a beige ground with a brown border, both seat panels measure 28” x 24”. In poor condition with fading, holes, and deterioration of the weft. 1 antique matching pair of floral wool tapestry chair back panels on a beige ground measuring 19.5” x 19.5”. In fair condition with fading, frayed edges, areas where the warp has deteriorated leaving only the weft exposed. At some point someone has used a fused backing to try and stabilize the pieces, if you pill gently it should separate. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
