Description
Antique Needlepoint Portier for Doorway or Window with an elaborate shape with curves and points. Indienne floral motif in red, brown, green, and blue, against a bright green ground. Embroidery appears to be complete. But is is still attached to its original canvas ground. In good condition. About 7.5″ wide, wider at the curves. The opening measures 23″ wide along the top, 46″ wide across the middle and 67″ tall from the bottom to the top edges of the embroidery. Very unusual! If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
