Vintage German Needlepoint Rug or Wall Hanging measuring 38×78″. It reads “Geh’ nie im Zorn von deines Haules Herd. Gar mancher ging, der nie zuruckgekehrt.” We think it is translated in English to “Never Leave your Home in Anger. Many a man has gone and never returned.” Cotton canvas ground with pink and red roses and green leaves and vines. It is backed and edge in an orange sateen, In fair condition with spots and discolorations. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
