Description
Men’s Late 18th Century Silk Waistcoat. The lot includes 1 men’s late 18th century waistcoat featuring an ivory silk moire shell heavily embellished with fine hand embroidered silk floral motifs in shades of green, purple, brown, and pink. As well as faux pockets, a standing collar, matching silk covered and silk embroidered buttons at the front, and a linen lining. Laying flat it measures: chest: 18”, waist: 15.5”. It is in fair condition with toning, spots, wear/fraying to the outer edges, underarm stains, and several large blue spots at the front. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
