Description
Pair of Vintage Ladies Dresses c1950. The lot includes 1 vintage c1950 wool dress by Claire McCardell Clothiers featuring a woven striped wool shell in shades of blues, greens, and black, long sleeves, a round neckline, and unique gold tone hook and eye closures down the front. Laying flat it measures: bust: 16”, waist: 14”, sleeve: 17”, length: 40”. In good condition. Also included is 1 vintage c1940/50 burnt orange silk dress from the Neiman-Marcus Sports Shop featuring a wide fold over collar, a fitted waist, and hook and eye closures at the front. Laying flat it measures: bust: 17”, waist: 12.5”, length: 52”. The dress is in poor condition with a large tear on the upper left shoulder and wear to the silk.
