Description
Pair of c1920 Embroidered Silk Pieces. The lot includes 1 antique c1920 beige silk cape featuring pale sage silk floral embroidery, and looped silk banded accents. It had hook and eye closures down the font and is lined in ivory silk. It is in fair/poor condition with the silk shattering in several areas. Also included is 1 antique c1920’s large silk piano shawl featuring a pink silk top layer hand embroidered with floral motifs and pheasants, a blue silk backing, and hand knotted pink silk fringe and all 4 sides. It is in fair condition with staining on 1 side, several areas where the fringe has come unsewn, and the silk interfacing beginning to shatter. Please see the photos for details and condition.
