Description
Antique c1850 Carpenters Star Quilt measuring 69 by 71 inches. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 11.5 by 11.5 inches, set on point, 4 by 4 with orange print setting squares and triangles. There is a 4 inch double zig zag border in orange and brown prints. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied brown print binding, by hand. It is in good condition with some fading and a few spots. This quilt has a wonderful variety of Prussian blue prints. While some fabrics are faded all are in tact with no deterioration. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
