Description
2 Antique Red, White, Blue Quilts. Includes a c1900, possibly earlier, Hen and Her Chicks quilt is red, white, and blue solid fabrics measuring 80 by 90 inches. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse the edge is finished with an applied white binding, which may be a replacement. It is in poor condition with overall wear, spots, discolorations, tears, and several repaired fabrics. Along with a c1900 string pieced finished quilt top in mostly stripes and plaid fabrics in red, white, blue with some black, pink, and purple. It measures 59 by 61 inches. It is machine pieced onto a foundation. The edges are finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. There is no batting or quilting. It is in fair condition with fading and some spots. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
