Description
Vintage c1930 Log Cabin Quilt With many earlier fabrics. It measures 80 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 144 blocks, 6 by 6 inches, set straight, 12 by 12, with a 3 inch purple Egyptian Revival print border. Fabric placement creates a Barn Raising arrangement. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a red and white gingham reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in very good condition with just a few small discolorations. From an Alexandria, VA collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
