Description
Antique c1870 Everlasting Tree Quilt measuring 83 x 90 inches. It is comprised of 6 4.5″ bars of cheddar print and over 5 dyed green print bars, with 1.75 inch half square triangles of the same fabric between them. It there is a 1.75 inch half square triangle inner border along the top and bottom and 6 inch over dyed green print outer border. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown plaid print reverse. The edge is finished in the cheddar orange fabric, applied binding. It is in very good condition with just one small spot noted. A very graphic quilt with a modern aesthetic. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
