Description
Antique c1880 Stars Upon Stars Quilt measuring 74 x 91 inches. It is comprised of 9 complete blocks, 20 by 20 inches, set straight, 3 by 3, with 3 half blocks along the top, and 5.5 inch green print sashing and Lemoyne Star cornerstones. There is a 2 inch green solid border. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown floral stripe print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by machine. It is in fair condition with overall toning and other discolorations. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
