Description
Antique c1900 Sampler Quilt -MO measuring 71 x 82 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 13 x 13 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with a double pink 3.5″ sashing and 4 inch double pink print borders along 2 sides. It is hand pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. Many of the blocks have hand embroidered initials or names, 2 blocks have regions: Kansas City, Missouri and Hamilton, Missouri. It is in fair condition with water stains, bleeding, and other discolorations. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
