Description
Vintage c1950 Grandmothers Flower Garden Quilt measuring 90 by 93 inches. It is comprised of 46 flower rosettes set straight, and staggered, 4 by 7, with partial block setting blocks. Each hexagon measures about 1.5 inches along one side. The flowers consistently have a solid yellow center and 2 frames of print fabrics, many of them feed sack prints. The path is an off white muslin fabric. It is hand pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a yellow print reverse the edges are finished with an applied green bias tape binding. It is in fair condition with wear through the center of the quilt in 2 blocks and along the perimeter in the 4 corner blocks and 2 other partial blocks. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
