Description
Antique c1890 Chimney Sweep Signature Quilt measuring 73 inch by 86 inches. It is comprised of 42 blocks, 8.5 x 8.5 Inches, set on point, 6 by 7, with shirting print alternating squares and setting triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a shirting reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, and applied by machine. Most of the blocks have a name inscription in the center in a blue ink. There is no date or geographic location that I can discern. It is in good condition with a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
