3 Antique late 19th Century Textile Swatch books including over 1050 fabric samples. These textile swatchbooks are self collected and arranged. There is a book of 386 1890 French silk jacquard geometrics, and stripes. A book of 215 1890 silk jacquard florals, and geometrics. And a book of 456 1860 silk jacquard floral, conversational, sheers, floral stripes, and moires. The fabrics are in good condition, the books are in fair condition. This fabric sample collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
