Description
2 vintage 1950s pink flower quilts includes a Rose of Sharon quilt measuring 77 x92 inches. Comprised of 30 blocks, 14.5 x 14.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with a 4 inch white border. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with and applied pink binding. It is in fair condition with overall toning, yellowing along the edges, spots, and other discolorations that might soak out. Along with a Tulip quilt, unfinished, it is missing its binding. It measures 65 by 82 inches. Comprised of 12 tulips blocks, 15.5 x 15.5 inches set straight, 3 by 4, with 1.25 inch solid pink stashing, green cornerstones, inner border, and an outer border of more appliquéd tulips, 7 inches wide. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is raw, it is unfinished and needs binding. In fair condition with storage line discoloration fading, spots, and minor wear. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
