Group of 3 Small Star Quilts. The group includes 3 small quilts from the collection of Bobbie Aug. Featuring 1 small patriotic star quilt in a wide range of reds, whites, and blues. It is hand quilted and machine pieced with a thin ploy batting. As well as a bee novelty printed cotton backing and a hand finished black edge. It measures 37 1/4” x 54” and is in good condition. 1 small vintage c1980 quilted tree wall hanging by Bobbie Aug featuring primary colored calico printed cottons. It is hand pieced and hand quilted with a poly batting. The edge is finished by bringing the back to the front and has 5 attached tabs for hanging. It measures 23 3/4” x 31” and has the initials BA hand embroidered in the lower right corner. In good condition. 1 quilted friendship star wall hanging featuring a variety of printed cottons in shades of light blue, light brown, tan, beige, and ivory. As well as hand quilted bars, feathers, and feather hearts. It is hand pieced and hand quilted with solid white cotton backing and a corn flower blue hand finished binding. It has a thin poly batting and measures 44.5” x 57”, as well as an attached sleeve for hanging. In good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
